Apple Picking at Barden Family Orchard
Coat: Barbour (similar style for less) // Sweater: Sezane // Jeans: Double RL // Boots: J.Crew c/o (similar) // Bag: Coach
Pictures from our annual family apple picking trip this year at Barden Family Orchard. This past September has been unseasonably warm and we went on the first cool day at the very end of the month. Traditions are important to our family and we especially love our fall traditions. Harry is turning four this month and he has grown so much over the past year. He loved sitting high on his dad’s shoulders to pick the apples. We picked a mix of Honeycrisp and Macintosh apples. I definitely plan on baking a pie or two with the honeycrisp. Harry wants to try roasting an apple by the fire after watching Pete’s Dragon.
This coat is a recent purchase from Barbour, its part of the Alexa Chung collaboration line. I had a few questions about the fit. It’s definitely slightly oversized. I find the extra room great for throwing on a bulky, cozy sweater underneath.
Harry’s sweater is from Misha & Puff. I bought a size 2-3 years when he turned 2 and it still, just barely, fits him. They offer the leaf sweater every year in slightly different renditions. I’m really sad that I missed out on it this year, it sold out within minutes.
